Cubarainbow 

Cubarainbow, a source for Cuban art in Vienna, was founded on the 15^th of November 2008, with the aim of promoting the artwork of talented artists from Cuba. Although Cubans put considerable time and effort into their art, many of the results cannot be seen outside of Cuba. Moreover, Cuban artists rely heavily on their work, as part of their income is related to the artwork they create, representing their sacred commitment to being faithful cultural ambassadors of the most beautiful island in the Caribbean.

Cubarainbow e.U. lives up to its name with the diversity of materials, colours, styles and techniques used by the Cuban artists. Cultural influences prevail among the artists; they are the famous and the unknown; they are the Caucasians, Africans, Latinos, and the Mulattos. The only idea that remains constant among them is the wish to share their art with those who can truly appreciate its sincerity.

Cubarainbow allows Europeans to gain insight into the culture of the biggest Caribbean island and its people. It demonstrates the devotion, religion, creativity and sex appeal that Cuban culture possesses. For these reasons we consider it important to strengthen the presence of Cuban art in Europe.
